The XIII International Forum for Technological Development "Technoprom-2026" will be held in Novosibirsk from 26 to 28 August 2026. Governor Andrei Travnikov noted the scale of the event, as well as the need to hold it at the highest organizational and substantive level. "In 2026, the Technoprom Forum will traditionally be held in the format of the Russian Scientific and Technological Week, the event is included in the federal calendar, held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. This year, the accompanying events are quite significant - we expect the opening of the SRF "SKIF" and the facilities of the second stage of the NSU campus, so it is necessary to prepare accordingly for such large-scale events that will attract a large number of participants and guests. Accordingly, we need to once again be at our best organizationally", the head of the region emphasized.
Irina Manuilova, Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, presented a report on preparations for the XIII International Forum for Technological Development "Technoprom-2026" to the meeting participants.
"Technoprom" serves as a platform for discussing a set of measures to ensure the country's technological breakthrough: the formation of a new research infrastructure and the accelerated introduction of research results into the economy. This year, the events of the business program will be divided into 8 end-to-end tracks:
1. From Synchrotron to Enterprise: Megascience Class Settings– Technology transfer from research infrastructure to the real sector.
2. Intelligent Systems. Hybrid Intelligence – Solving the scientific problem of integrating autonomous systems into human society.
3. Technologies for the Invisible World – The development of technologies that allow you to see the invisible - single atoms in the material, the spread of the virus in the crowd, internal defects in the aircraft part without disassembling it, photonics, crystal growth, etc.
4. Medicine of the Future: From Genome to Digital Twin – Personalized medicine, where treatment and prevention are built on a unique map of each person's health - their genes, lifestyle and body data in real time.
5. Bioengineering: From Farming to Consumer – An integrated scientific and technological approach combining bioengineering with smart farming to create a self-sufficient food production system in Russia, independent of external supplies and climate challenges.
6. The Biosphere and Human – A system of socio-economic and humanitarian mechanisms for creating comfortable interactions between humans, the technosphere they have created, and the environment (ecological issues).
7. Energy for Life – The creation of new substances with fundamentally different properties.
8. Chemistry That Creates the Future – Creating new substances with fundamentally novel properties.
The main plenary session of the Technoprom-2026 Forum: "Mega-installations as a tool for achieving technological leadership". It is important to note that the project to create a megascience installation was proposed by scientists and supported by the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin at a meeting of the Council for Science and Education, which was held in Novosibirsk at the Technoprom Forum in 2018.

Such zoning will allow participants and visitors to trace the path of innovation at all stages of its life cycle and see how the country's technological sovereignty is formed.
Like last year, the traditional street warm up with the participation of sports mascots of Siberia will take place before the Technoprom. The participants of the event will be joined by the Snowman - the mascot of the hockey club "Siberia" and Lokos - the mascot of the volleyball club "Lokomotiv." During the days of Technoprom, excursions to leading industrial enterprises of the Novosibirsk Region are also organized for delegates and guests.
