The Governor of the Novosibirsk Region stressed that the meeting with foreign participants of the Technoprom is becoming a traditional program event of the forum: "Taking into account that the main purpose of this forum is to build new strong ties between scientific and educational organizations of our states, I would like to note with satisfaction that this year, in addition to the traditional, already constant participation of representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, the heads of the academies of sciences of three more states joined the forum: Burkina Faso, the Republic of Mali and the Republic of Niger. My colleagues and I, for our part, are ready to support such a serious, thorough approach and assist in building cooperation in the educational and scientific sphere both with organizations of the Novosibirsk Region and with the Russian Academy of Sciences.
There are 22 universities in the Novosibirsk region, in which almost 103 thousand students study in more than five hundred areas of training. Including - almost ten thousand foreigners. Also in the Novosibirsk region there are almost 50 different academic, research and applied institutes. The final stage is the construction of a unique scientific installation - the Center for Collective Use "Siberian Ring Photon Source". At the end of this year, the first experiments will already begin on the installation. The agenda of this year's Technoprom will largely reflect the topics of new national projects of the Russian Federation, which were initiated by our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin last year. Also, new national projects are aimed at unleashing human potential and strengthening personnel for our science, education and industry.
