The busiest second day of Technoprom-2019 VII International Forum and Exhibition of Technological Development is finished in Novosibirsk. More than 40 activities took place as part of the business program.
The day started with the plenary discussion called “Smart City” and the strategical sessions called “Mechanisms for Implementation of SB RAS Integrated Development Plan” and “Hidden Champions in Russian Technet NTI Markets: Reality, Challenges, Prospects”.
During the “Smart City” plenary discussion, participants discussed conditions for creating a comfortable city environment in Novosibirsk. According to Mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot, the city infrastructure should be equipped with the unified smart technology systems. Thus, Rosinvest and Surdofon signed an agreement on the development of a technology for people with acoustical disabilities. It is planned to use this technology at public transport stops.
During the strategical session called “Mechanisms for Implementation of SB RAS Integrated Development Plan”, RAS Professor Sergey Golovin reported that within the SB RAS integrated development project it is planned to create scientific and educational centers and Mega Science units which include accelerators, power lasers, nuclear reactors, charged particle colliders.
A key event of the second day was a breakfast meeting of Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrey Travnikov with representatives of banking sector, consulting agencies, executive authorities, technology companies and startups. During the breakfast meeting, participants voted selecting the most topical issues hindering the development of the country. “Insufficient interest in innovations from representatives of real sector of economy” was selected by the majority of participants.
Besides, the Governor visited Technoprom-2019 where innovative regional and country-level companies represented their projects.
“Our region accumulated solid intellectual and scientific potential. So, it is an urgent issue for us to “build a bridge“ between innovations and enterprises. Today, we are actively discussing this topic, including with federal experts, at the forum”, said Andrey Travnikov.
The second day of the forum was also marked by the First All-Russian Congress of Representatives of Preferential Areas “Park Policy: Industrial, Trading, Agro-, Bio-, Technology Parks as Examples of Effective Cooperation and Legislative Initiatives”. During the congress, Director of Association of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia Andrey Shpilenko noted that in the near future a law on unified development instruments of preferential areas may be adopted.
A discussion called “Siberia-Chennai: Open Dialog on Innovative Cooperation” was held on September 19 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IRCCI) with the participation of Chamber General Secretary Parimanam Tangappan.
Mr. Tangappan said that India first of all needs nanomaterial production technologies which can be applied in different areas.
During the round table of Rostelecom with agro-industrial complex representatives, Corporate Customer Service Director Aleksey Podryabinnikov informed of introducing a new digital service which significantly facilitates a procedure for drawing subsidies by farmers.
The forum press center welcomed the TechNet Contest presentation in the area of advanced production technologies. The presentation was attended by General Director of Technet Association Ilya Metreveli and Deputy Director of Innovative Development Department of UEC, JSC Marina Kustova.
Besides, the press center welcomed a signing ceremony for 15 agreements on cooperation, including 5 agreements with the participation of Governor Andrey Travnikov.
On September 20, VII International Forum and Exhibition of Technological Development TECHNOPROM-2019 ended. More than 90 activities took place as part of the business program. For the last seven years amount of activities has increased fivefold: this year there were 8,500 visitors from 25 countries. 257 representatives of the press from 126 mass media gave coverage to the Forum and exhibition. 23 cooperation agreements were signed in the press center of the Forum. 70 stands were presented at the exhibition with the same name.More details
Technoprom-2019 International Forum was finished with a plenary session called “Talents and Opportunities”. During the round table called “How to Bring Scientific and Educational Centers to International Level”, Deputy Director of Public Scientific, Scientific and Technical and Innovation Policy Department of the Ministry Andrey Anikeyev informed that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation plans to present development programs of the first five Russian scientific and education centers in Europe and Japan.More details
