Rostelecom will be an Official Partner of International Forum TECHNOPROM

Rostelecom will support the VII International Forum of Technological Development TECHNOPROM as an official event partner. The biggest Russian provider of digital services will present on the forum ground in Exhibition Complex “Novosibirsk Expo Centre” complex advanced solutions for business and the state, among which smart urban management technologies, telemedicine services, and a platform for industrial facility digitalization.

Nikolay Zenin, vice president, director of Sibir hub branch of PJSC Rostelecom, pointed out: “Rostelecom, being a strategic partner of Digital Economy national program, develops the cooperation with high tech corporations and companies to introduce advanced tools making the life more comfortable. We will show our projects on the Technoprom ground: we will demonstrate the video surveillance system and traffic control platform, explain which services we are ready to offer for the agroindustrial complex support and for large industries.”

At the main Rostelecom stand the forum participants will have the opportunity to assess the benefits of SMART CITY project implementation by the example of town Satka in the Chelyabinsk Region, which is one of the first locations in Russia to have implemented this platform in its area. As part of the project, the street illumination was replaced in the town with energy-efficient illumination, operation problems of the video surveillance system with active alert were fixed, smart entry phones were installed, and a control system of solid domestic waste disposal was implemented based on container sensors and waste truck GLONASS-tracking.

Within the framework of Technoprom forum, Rostelecom will sign a number of strategic agreements for cooperation in the field of digital technology development. Within the event business program the company will participate in XI Siberian Forum “Industry of Information Systems”, where Rostelecom specialists will speak about a single cyber security service platform and present IT-technologies for the science and education.

The International Forum of Technological Development TECHNOPROM operates in Novosibirsk since 2013. This year it will take place from September 18 to September 20 under slogan “Science of New Era: Transformation Technologies”. More than 90 activities with around 500 speakers are planned in the business program. 8,000 participants are expected to be present, including 12 foreign delegations. The forum participants are planning to pay special attention to national projects devoted to the development of science and technology in Russia and IT-infrastructure development issues.

Results of VII International Forum and Exhibition of Technological Development TECHNOPROM-2019

On September 20, VII International Forum and Exhibition of Technological Development TECHNOPROM-2019 ended. More than 90 activities took place as part of the business program. For the last seven years amount of activities has increased fivefold: this year there were 8,500 visitors from 25 countries. 257 representatives of the press from 126 mass media gave coverage to the Forum and exhibition. 23 cooperation agreements were signed in the press center of the Forum. 70 stands were presented at the exhibition with the same name.

First scientific and educational centers in Russia to present development programs in Europe and Japan

During the round table called “How to Bring Scientific and Educational Centers to International Level”, Deputy Director of Public Scientific, Scientific and Technical and Innovation Policy Department of the Ministry Andrey Anikeyev informed that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation plans to present development programs of the first five Russian scientific and education centers in Europe and Japan.
