On September 10, a press conference devoted to the VII International Forum of Technological Development Technoprom-2019 was held in Moscow in the press center of TASS (Telegraph Agency of Soviet Union). The forum will take place on September 18–20 in Novosibirsk. Andrey Travnikov, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Anatoly Kitsura, the General Director of Business Dialogue (operating company of forum Technoprom-2019), and Albina Nikkonen, the Executive Director of the Russian Venture Capital Association participated in the press conference.
Andrey Travnikov, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, informed federal media journalists of the events and concept of the forum which will be held this year under slogan “Science of New Era: Transformation Technologies”. He pointed out that the main forum agenda traditionally includes topics of the development of science and new technologies, among them biotechnologies, nuclear and modern chemical technologies, digital technologies, as well as issues of creating the best conditions for the technological leadership of Russia and its regions.
In particular, the significant attention will be paid to the implementation of “Science” national project and its correlation with other national projects – “International Cooperation and Export” and “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship” as well as with “Digital Economy” program.
The first all-Russian congress of representatives of preferential areas “Future Breakthrough Area” will take place with the support of “Opora Russia” and will be devoted to the issues of developing clusters, science cities, technology parks, and the role of innovative regions in the spatial development strategy. A number of activities will be devoted to the implementation of National Technological Initiative. The following topics will be discussed: digital models, digital twins, Big Data, robotization, artificial intelligence, and others.
This year, the Technoprom program includes the extensive discussion of the issues of transformation technology development and transformation of productions, business models, thinking, and the society.
“Special attention will be paid to discussing the role and place in the global space and the Russian Federation development of RECs, mathematical centers, genetic technology centers, as well as synergy of technological development institutes, digital transformation of social and economic systems, and management technologies. These are the main events of “Science” national project, which are of the most interest for Russian regions”, emphasized the Head of the Novosibirsk Region.
Andrey Travnikov also explained that another meeting of the Russian State Council working group will be held within the framework of Technoprom on the topic of Education and Science, and the program will finish with the plenary session “Talents and Opportunities” with the participation of Mikhail Kotyukov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The Governor also pointed out that the main outcome of Technoprom forum throughout the years has been real economy projects. “A good tool – the Siberian Venture Fair – is a business platform where our innovators find business angels and convert their projects into real start-ups.”
Albina Nikkonen, the Executive Director of the Russian Venture Capital Association, and Anatoly Kitsura, the General Director of Business Dialogue (operating company of forum Technoprom-2019), also took part in the press conference on September 10. They told media representatives about the specific features of the forum business program this year, the exhibition Technoprom-2019, the Siberian Venture Fair (a traditional satellite event of Technoprom), and the event course planned by the organizers.
On September 20, VII International Forum and Exhibition of Technological Development TECHNOPROM-2019 ended. More than 90 activities took place as part of the business program. For the last seven years amount of activities has increased fivefold: this year there were 8,500 visitors from 25 countries. 257 representatives of the press from 126 mass media gave coverage to the Forum and exhibition. 23 cooperation agreements were signed in the press center of the Forum. 70 stands were presented at the exhibition with the same name.More details

During the round table called “How to Bring Scientific and Educational Centers to International Level”, Deputy Director of Public Scientific, Scientific and Technical and Innovation Policy Department of the Ministry Andrey Anikeyev informed that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation plans to present development programs of the first five Russian scientific and education centers in Europe and Japan.More details
